Why there are so many languages – folk tale 3 by Paul & Jane Catteeuw

Folk tale three is in the making. After the Vietnamese ‘Vong Phu’ and the Scandinavian ‘De geur van vis’, we’re now working on an indian folk tale that tells about the origin of the different languages, yes, really our cup of tea! I’m in the preliminary phase. Searching for the right tone, line, colour,.. everything! As is my father. He’s now officially retired, this basically means he’s even more busy than before. So I have to make do with the first three paragraphs that he managed to write on a spare free moment over the last three months.
